Formerly chief architect of the Clustra DBMS, a highly available and scaleable database management system with soft real-time transaction response. February 2002 the company Clustra Systems Inc. was aquired by Sun Microsystems Inc. which is using the product as a persistence mechanism for the Sun Java System Application Server. Currently working as Senior Research Scientist for Fast Search & Transfer ASA.
